For supported props, our custom brackets create convenient attachment points for the anchoring system. Wire cables and carabiner-style spring snap link clips connect the prop to the anchors. For compatible props that don't need a custom bracket, we also offer bracketless anchoring kits.
Complete kits are available with either heavy-duty straight stakes or heavy-duty spiral stakes. If you already have suitable ground anchors, you can choose a kit without stakes.
How do I secure a Home Depot 12-foot Skelly?
Secure-A-Skelly brackets are custom-made for the Home Depot 12-foot Original and Servo Skelly and are designed to work with the different years and variations of the 12-foot Skeleton.

Secure-A-Skelly offers custom anchoring brackets designed specifically for the Home Depot 15-foot GallyCrow and WorriCrow. Unlike our aluminum Skelly brackets, the Crow brackets are machined from solid steel and powder-coated for a durable finish.
The brackets install without requiring you to disassemble your Crow and provide secure attachment points for wire cables and your anchoring system.

Important: There can be manufacturing variations among GallyCrow and WorriCrow props. Some have a larger-than-expected gap at the right or left leg joint after assembly, which can affect bracket fit. Paracord is included with our Crow bracket kits and can be used when needed to help reduce the gap and achieve a satisfactory fit. We recommend watching our installation video if your Crow has a leg-joint gap.

Not every oversized Halloween prop needs a custom bracket. Secure-A-Skelly bracketless anchoring kits are designed for compatible giant props that already have suitable locations where our clips can attach.
The clips connect the wire cables directly to suitable attachment points on the prop, allowing you to create an anchoring system without a custom Secure-A-Skelly bracket.
Bracketless kits can be used with compatible oversized decorations such as Jack Skellington and other giant props with appropriate attachment points.

Straight stakes vs. spiral stakes: Which should I choose?
Both straight and spiral stakes provide ground anchor points for your Secure-A-Skelly system, but they install differently.
Straight stakes are driven directly into suitable ground and provide a simple, traditional anchoring option.
Spiral stakes screw into suitable ground and provide a screw-in style anchor point.
The best option for your display can depend on your soil, location, and personal preference. Whichever style you choose, make sure the stakes are installed securely and check your anchoring system periodically throughout the season.

Secure-A-Skelly products are designed to help secure oversized Halloween props against wind and tipping, but weather, soil conditions, installation, prop condition, and other factors can affect performance.
